I am looking for short term lets only. The reason for this is that the property has only one bedroom which would be used by my guest, while I would use the sofabed in the living room. I would like to see the property being used as an alternative to a guest house or bed and breakfast whilst on holiday or while looking for more permanent accommodation.
The cottage is a small terraced property but is very quaint with original oak beams. The bedroom has a double iron bedstead with 2 chests of drawers and one wardrobe. The room is very light and sunny as there are two windows.
My guest would have full use of the kitchen, which includes washing machine, fridge/freezer, gas hob and oven and microwave, and full use of the living room. There is also wireless connection.
There are many amenities in the local town which include a swimming pool, theatre, library, museum and soon to be cinema. There is a very good bus service approx 50 yards from the cottage.
The cottage is 50 yards away from the Neath canal and the River Neath, which is very popular with walkers.
A little bit about myself, I work full time as an Administrative Assistant in the local Further Education College, and also work occasionally in the evening and weekend as a Care Support worker.
I enjoy walking and socialising, but also enjoy a quiet evenings at home.
