Added Rooms - How do I edit an existing advert?

"Login" go to "Manage My Adverts", which contains a link to your "Advertised Rooms". Click the "Manage Button," which will open your "Property List". Click on the property you wish to edit. Change the details and press "Continue" to save changes.

How large and what type of picture can I upload?

There is no photo size restriction on this site. The server can now handle almost any size file, but of course it will take a while to load if too large. Once downloaded the server resizes and renames it for compatibility with the website. The recommended formats are JPG, GIF and PNG.

I want to search for a room to rent. Do I have to create a room wanted advert?

No, you can search to find rooms. As long as you are registered you will be able to contact the landlord.

Do you use cookies on this site?

Yes. Cookies may be used on this site. They help provide a better service. They are harmless cannot replicate themselves and are not viruses.

Can I be both a landlord and a tenant, IE rent my place out while renting somewhere else?

Yes. We have no restrictions on using the site this way.

What information will people be able to see about my available room and me?

They will be shown your first name, first part of postcode and area of the property, plus the details about the room that you entered in the advert. We will not pass on your email address, surname, full address and contact details. Using our internal mail system you can pass your details to prospective tenants, when you are comfortable and happy to do so. By the same token you will have limited information about them, so be sensible about what information you exchange.

I have placed a "Want Room" advert. How will I be contacted?

The "Wanted Room " adverts trigger an auto-notification of any new room listed in the Town/City(s) you select. Prospective landlords can search active Wanted adverts and have the option to send you a message.

Forgot my password, what should I do?

Go to the login page and press "forgot password". A Forgot Password Verification email will be sent to the email address you registered with. Click the Reset Your Password link and a new password will be emailed back. Use this new password to access site. 

In-correct Login message appears when i try to login!

If you are copy and pasting a password some browsers do not paste them correctly and the login may fail. Try typing password in manually. 

I tried to login but forgot my registration email address, what should I do?

We will not be able to supply the registration email address, only forgotten passwords.

How do I change my password?

Go to "Login" and you will have access to your profile page, which contains a link to change your password.
