We are two artists of mature years who work in London Educational establishments during the week and term times but otherwise live out of London and have always let a room in our small, Spitalfields house to a trusted person usually of a similar creative bent.
This is NOT a Party House it is a haven of peace and quiet in the heart of the city, however, if you want Action there is plenty to be found just five minutes away in the bars, clubs, restaurants and markets of the Brick lane and Shoreditch area.
Some of our tenants have stayed many years with us and have become life long friends. The lucky tenant gets a smallish room with a double bed but, additionally, gets the whole house to themselves about 4 days a week including most weekends and academic holidays.
We do have broadband but not a television and we will only seriously consider a true garden lover who understands when pots and gardens have to be watered.
We would like a quiet, preferably artistic tenant who does not have to be of mature years but does have to have a mature outlook.
The rent does not include gas and electricity but does include council tax.
We are in zone 1, 2 minutes from Brick Lane, 15 minutes from Liverpool St and 10 minutes from Aldgate East and Whitechapel stations.
This is a private estate of houses and there is both street parking and secure gated parking available.
We are sorry but couples and pets will not be considered as this really is a very small house.
